Sarah Wilber joins The ELAM Group!

The ELAM Group welcomes Field Technician Sarah Wilber to our ever expanding team. Sarah grew up in Carmel Indiana and attended Carmel High School, where she first discovered a passion for Earth Sciences. Sarah has been active in the Ball State Geology Club where she is currently finishing her degree. She was the Geology Club Historian, helping to organize the Geosciences career fair every year.  She also held an annual geode smash during finals week for students to relieve stress.  Sarah started at The ELAM Group in June 2019 and notes that her favorite part of working for The ELAM Group are the wonderful coworkers and the balance of being in the field and in the office. “I am learning everyday here and am excited for the potential growth within this company.” Sarah remarked, “I find great fulfillment in doing my part to help the world become a healthier and safer place to live.” Sarah adds that she enjoys building relationships with people she meets while in the field. She chose this career because the work is important. “We help with chemical cleanups that are detrimental to human health. Anyone could be affected, even our own families, and that is my biggest motivation for working in Environmental Consulting.” Sarah added.

While not at work, Sarah likes to go on hikes in new places, look for rocks to make jewelry, spend time with family, and create new recipes. She has two cats and a chinchilla that are her best buddies. We are all glad to have Sarah on our ELAM Group team.
